“Sometimes, the biggest breakthroughs come from the smallest clicks,” he reflects.
A few months ago, his friend Victoria Adeyeye shared information about the Nigerian Youth Academy, an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Nigeria.
Led by Hon. Minister Ayodele Olawande, in collaboration with Sapphital and ProvidusBank, the platform offers courses and opportunities designed to nurture young entrepreneurs.
Curious and eager to learn, Stephen decided to explore the platform, enroll in courses and deepen his understanding of business and export strategies. Little did he know that this decision would propel him to the national stage.
Stepping onto the National Stage: Pitching for Prosperity
The knowledge gained from the Nigerian Youth Academy paid off when Stephen was given the opportunity to pitch Exportplug before industry leaders.
Reflecting on that moment, he said: “I did not know that a single decision would lead me to pitch Exportplug our vision for Africa’s No. 1 Intra-African Marketplace before industry leaders like Mr. Abba Bello (Nigerian Export Import Bank – NEXIM), Mr. Charles Odii (SMEDAN) and Mr. ‘Timi Agama FCMA CGMA FCIS MCSI FCMR PhD (SEC).”
