Naledi Ntini: Driving Innovation Through Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions

Naledi Ntini, the founder and CEO of Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions, is a dynamic entrepreneur in the tech and finance space, pioneering innovative solutions tailored to the needs of African businesses. She has managed to blend her expertise in finance and technology to create sustainable custom solutions for businesses that help drive business growth across key sectors like agriculture, mining, and real estate. Nkanyezi Digital was registered in 2023 as a subsidiary of the South African-registered Naledi Financial Consultancy.

Naledi began her professional journey in finance and her transition to IT and technology was sparked by her desire to solve real business problems. This background in finance exposed her to the critical importance of data in decision-making. It was a natural transition to IT, where she could leverage data to create systems that enhance financial growth.

Taxation as a Service and ERP Solutions

At the core of Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions is the concept of “Taxation as a Service” (TaaS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. They help businesses manage their financial and operational processes through tailored ERP systems, particularly in SAP. The solutions are designed to address weaknesses in a client’s operations that are unearthed through data mining and are ultimately addressed by transforming that data into actionable insights.

Taxation as a Service (TaaS) refers to the outsourcing of tax-related processes to a third-party provider who uses advanced software to manage, calculate, and file taxes on behalf of a business. This service ensures compliance with tax regulations, automates tax reporting, and provides real-time insights into tax obligations. TaaS helps businesses streamline tax management, reduce errors, and save time, allowing them to focus on core operations while ensuring accuracy in tax filings.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a type of software that integrates and manages a company’s core business processes, including finance, supply chain, operations, human resources, and manufacturing. ERP systems provide a centralized platform where data from various departments is stored, processed, and shared, enabling efficient workflow, real-time data access, and improved decision-making. This comprehensive solution helps organizations streamline operations, improve productivity, and optimize resource management.

Data Mining: The Backbone of Business Success

Central to Nkanyezi’s approach is data mining. They gather and analyze information to extract what’s essential for the clients. They then use that data to build systems tailored to the specific needs of businesses, whether they’re in agriculture, mining, or real estate. The goal is to provide tools that not only optimize day-to-day operations but also drive long-term financial growth. Naledi emphasizes that Nkanyezi is a software engineering company focused on creating systems that offer solutions to businesses.

Our main domain is data. The first stage is data mining, we take a deep dive into a company’s data and run a thorough analysis that then allows us to visualize that information. After visualization, we then give recommendations on the right tools to use for one’s business. We have done most of our work in agriculture, mining, and real estate industries as they are the core businesses that drive the economy.

Building Afrocentric Systems for Global Impact

As a proudly African company, Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions stands out from competitors on the global market by focusing on developing systems that address the core industries driving African economies to create systems that not only perform on a global scale but also resonate with Africa’s specific challenges and opportunities. Her vision extends beyond local markets. While the company is building systems for Africa, it also wants to attract global attention to the innovation and potential that exists here. It’s about shifting the global narrative around Africa from a place of limitations to one of boundless opportunity.

Why Khanyezi?, I believe as Africans we have everything that we need. What we just need are the tools to help us build effectively and operate at the same level of efficiency as our international peers. Nkanyezi Digital’s heart is in Africa. We exist to solve the problems of African businesses. We have a dream to go global one day, but it will be only after we have sufficiently met the needs of our own people.

From Humble Beginnings to Visionary Leadership

Naledi’s entrepreneurial journey has been defined by a clear vision. From a young age, she knew she was a problem solver. Even when resources were limited, she found ways to make things work. Her mentor once told her that he did not see her working for someone, and that became her driving force. Despite challenges starting the business, including early rejections and working with limited resources, her commitment never wavered.

From a very young age, I knew I was a problem solver. I have always known that I am an entrepreneur. I have faced many ups and downs in this journey but one thing that I have learnt is that whatever you do in this life, just start. You may face rejection on the way but it is part of the process. When things do not work the way you want just know that you have to find another way that works. Rejection just helps us to change direction and try other things we believe may work. We had very little resources on hand when we started and that helped me appreciate the importance of a team. I was working with one engineer who was aligned with the vision and that helped us to set up and from there we made it work.

Sustainable Growth and Future Expansion

Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions is not just growing locally but also expanding regionally, with Naledi managing operations between Zimbabwe and South Africa. She spends three weeks in Zimbabwe and one week in South Africa every month to ensure both markets are aligned. Looking ahead, she advocates for the global market to develop an interest in Africa, not based on outdated perceptions but on the beauty, innovation, and potential that Africa truly offers.

In a rapidly changing world where technology is reshaping industries, Naledi Ntini and Nkanyezi Digital Tech Solutions are leading the charge to prove that Afrocentric systems can thrive on a global stage while staying true to their roots.
