The Africa-Nordic Innovation & Investment Forum (ANIIF) 2025 will take place on November 13–14, 2025, at The Epicenter in Stockholm, Sweden, aimed at strengthening collaboration in innovation, investment and policy between Africa and the Nordic region.
Organized by the Africa Nordic Innovation Exchange, this inaugural event marks a historic milestone in Africa-Nordic relations and aims to serve as a high-impact platform for building strategic partnerships that drive inclusive economic transformation.
Under the theme “Bridging Boundaries: Scaling African Innovation through Nordic Partnerships,” the forum will bring together over 300 delegates including subnational government leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, technology hubs and development partners to explore how both regions can co-invest in Africa’s innovation-driven future.
Deji Garuba, Executive Director of the Africa Nordic Innovation Exchange, described ANIIF 2025 as “more than just a conference, it’s a platform for deals, dialogue and diplomacy that will shape the next chapter of Africa-Nordic cooperation.”
The event will feature a range of dynamic sessions including the Subnational Government Innovation Roundtable, G2G and investor matchmaking, a startup pitch showcase and high-level panels focused on scaling sustainable solutions.
Participating African subnational governments will have the opportunity to present investment-ready projects and formalize MoUs with Nordic partners, while African startups working in agri-tech, fintech, climate-tech and healthtech will engage directly with Nordic accelerators and investors to unlock growth capital.
Stockholm, long recognized for its leadership in sustainability and digital innovation provides an ideal backdrop for this cross-continental collaboration. The forum aims to leverage Nordic expertise in clean tech, digital infrastructure and inclusive growth models while spotlighting the potential of Africa’s emerging innovation ecosystems.
ANIIF 2025 underscores the growing momentum to shift Africa’s global narrative from aid dependency to co-creation, trade equity and strategic investment.
Open to governments, startups, development agencies and the private sector, this forum represents a bold new chapter in Africa-Nordic engagement one that prioritizes action, inclusivity and long-term impact.
